Are you wondering if your child will enjoy youth training? Is your child wondering what youth training is? We sat down with 11 year old Kenneth and talked about his experience with the Youth Training class at AYB. This training is offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:15pm in the gym. We will also be offering a summer youth and nutrition series this summer!
What is your favorite thing about training?
My favorite thing is having a fun time in an environment with lots of other kids and every time I go there I come out feeling stronger than before.
What is a typical training session like with Alex?
A typical training with Alex is a fun workout. That includes muscle work, balance, all the good stuff! In my opinion, I just love it.
What is your favorite exercise?
My favorite exercise that we do is a boat hold where we get on a mat and we stick our arms and feet out. It really helps with the core.
What is your least favorite exercise?
There is this thing called the sleigh where you put weights on it and you push it down the gym and back. Whew! That really wears me out.
What are some of the new things you have learned in training?
I learned how to get more stable because before I was really wobbly. Then, at first I could barely left a thing but now I’m lifting 45lbs and I feel super strong!
What would you say to a kid that was thinking about doing the training class?
Do it! It’s so much fun! You’ll really like it. 10 out of 10!Tags: Fitness
