It’s time for all things pumpkin spice! I’m not a coffee drinker, but even I get the urge to swing by Starbucks around this time to pick up one of those famous pumpkin spice lattes.
The only problem? The PSL is a sugar bomb!
Did you know that a grande pumpkin spice latte contains 50 grams of sugar? That’s 12.5 teaspoons! For reference, the American Heart Association recommends no more than 6 teaspoons of added sugar per day for women and no more than 9 teaspoons for men.
Check out my blog for a healthier pumpkin spice latte recipe that only contains 4 grams of added sugar: www.amyrichternutrition.com/pumpkin-spice-latte
