For those of you that have been in attendance the last two weeks, you have seen specific changes to the themes and structures of our Strength and Conditioning program. Being a wellness based facility, our staff wants to cater and foster a well rounded regimen to fit the needs of any individual that walks through our doors. The following article is a highlight to a 7 week cycle of every dynamic, modality, and tool we want to provide our members.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we will be cycling a structured system of exercise each week. These dynamics are Cardiovascular Endurance, Balance and Stability, Muscular Strength, Agility, Muscular Endurance, and Aesthetics. The 7th week is a “deload” and decompression week.
We believe maintaining this cycle will put proper emphasis on maintaining and building a fit and healthy body. This cycle also allows our program to maintain a degree of creativity, keeping the center fresh and innovative in its atmosphere. Conditioning and Core workouts are going to maintain a similar theme-recovering muscle groups from our Monday and Wednesday workouts, while working the core while maintaining a constantly elevated heart rate.
One of the most important weeks in this cycle is the 7th. Our decompression week is going to be similar to our Christmas to New Year routine; we are going to have blocked times on our schedule to afford everyone the opportunity to come in and workout at their own pace in a “deloaded” program. These workouts will be Trainer’s Choice, and moved at the client’s pace in an open forum. The priority this week is to offer all clients, as well as the Springfield community, to come in and take cycled Body Analysis to archive all changes in their body composition.
Within this 7th week it is our staff’s hope that you come in to track your progress not just physically, but also to offer feedback on client satisfaction in the center. It is important to our system that we create a positive environment for as many individuals as possible throughout our wellness journeys. A second office in our facility is about to take the shape of an analysis based room. Within this analysis/evaluation we will take progress pictures, track body alignment, track your measurements, as well as your body composition. Each individual within our center will be able to routinely inspect how they are progressing in our system, or where we might need to seek improvement. Such evaluations will keep our system accountable, and keep our clients informed and knowledgeable of their health related progress.
More information on the Body Analysis is to come. We wanted to give you a quick update on the impending changes in our programming as we continuously wish to excel in the environment we create for the Springfield community. As always it is our mission and vision to commit ourselves to excellence for the betterment of our amazing AYB family. Let’s keep rocking!
